Installation

Check the Adapter fit
With a light touch, make sure the hose end of the AC unit fits the provided panel. Some adapters will need a squeeze and some will need to have the clips pushed in while installing. Please note that older hose ends can become brittle so care is needed for this step.

Install The bottom window Clips
Each Cold Vent panel will come with a set of installation clips that install with VHB (very high bond) tape. The bottom two clips should be installed 1/4" off the bottom edge of the window opening in most cases.

Install the other window clips
The Cold Vent mounting system is made up of up to 8 dovetail clips that will sit on the edge of the acrylic panel. once the dovetail base is installed, the retaining clip can be slid in and the clear screw can be adjusted to lightly secure the panel against the window frame.
